People of The Way Fellowship functions under the Trust titled People of The Way which is a Government Registered Body under the Charitable & Religious Trusts Act 1920, Income Tax Act 1961, and also under the FCRA Act 1976.
In the year 1998, People of the Way fellowship was founded by Mr.Shrimpton George David and other likeminded Christians at Perambur, Chennai. People of the Way fellowship was later registered (POTW) as Public Religious & Charitable Trust, on the 20th day of February 2001, to address the spiritual and social needs of Anglo-Indians, Christians and Society at large.
This Public Religious & Charitable Trust at present is maintaining a church 53, Plot no: 24 & 24A, J.P. Street, kennedy Nagar, Erukancherri, Chennai – 118. This is a bi-lingual church where we help Christians, Anglo-Indians and Society at large to worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
